Thank the Soldiers In Iraq and Elsewhere With a Free Card through Xerox-Truth!

  //-->

Summary of the eRumor:
You are encouraged to go to www.letssaythanks.com where you can pick out a thank you card that Xerox will send to a soldier in Iraq or some other place of service.

The Truth:
This eRumor is true.

The site, www.LetsSayThanks.com, was launched on June 26, 2006 by the Xerox corporation.

 When you go to the site you can choose from a variety of cards, all of which have been created by children from across the country.  The card will be sent to a soldier in Iraq, Afghanistan or any other place where U.S. soldiers are serving.

You cannot choose who will receive the card, but you can put a personalized message on it and ask for a copy to be sent to you as well.

A real example of the eRumor as it has appeared on the Internet:

Subject: Let's say thanks!
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one.

If you go to the web site at letssaythanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and the Xerox Corporation will print it and send it to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq or elsewhere. You can't choose who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?

This IS legit. It's on the Xerox web site.
